In June 2013 Evolve Environmental Solutions in partnership with E2 Designlab and Lat 27, constructed a stormwater treatment and riparian rehabilitation zone at Slacks Creek, Queensland. The client, Logan City Council was looking for a specialist environmental partner who could work within their budget while optimising on ground results. With a tight timeframe in which to complete the work, the Evolve partnership proved to be the obvious choice due to their hands on approach and the ability to not get bogged down in design. The result was a successful partnership between the client and its contractors, delivering the desired result at the end of the project with no impact to the overall budget.
Evolve Environmental Solutions also worked with Knobel Consulting and the Moreton Bay Regional Council, to find a solution for two dangerous trees situated in the environmental park adjoining future residential properties at Pumicestone Park in Queensland. During the initial onsite meeting with council, an agreement was reached to replace the two trees with a range of additional native tree plantings. A fully qualified wildlife spotter was onsite during the tree clearing, safely moving one green tree frog and two tree geckoes.
